KAREN HINTON IS THE FOUNDER AND OWNER OF KAREN'S KREATIONS. She has been making custom jewelry for over a decade. Karen has a love for accessories and jewelry. Originally she began making bracelets as a hobby to display her creativity and fashion sense. However, as her skills developed, she began to satisfy the requests for custom made jewelry by her friends and family.

Karen personally makes every piece of jewelry displayed on this site by hand. Custom orders for bracelets, necklaces, ear rings, rings, and more are welcome. Her personal favorite materials are Swarovsky crystals and pearls, which gives her accessories a very distinctive, clean and sophisticated look.

Karen is currently a teacher at Huntington Middle School in Newport News, VA. She was been a teacher for over 30 years in school districts throughout Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. She is a dedicated wife and mother of three young men. She graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelors Degree and completed her Master’s Degree in Education at Hampton University.

Karen is very active in the community. She is a dedicated member of First Baptist Church East End in Newport News and Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc.
